There is no denying to the fact that India has quite a high economic disparity (which is prevalent in most of the developing countries in the world) .The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer is cliche, and very much a reality in the New India. With luxury limited to a privileged few who drive a 7 Series BMW, own a villa in Mauritius, sport a one crore watch, wear a Solitaire and take a holiday to Europe as often as some holiday at a nearby hill station.

The media is very good at spinning the facts to fit what will make the best story for them to bring in viewers and sell newspapers. Despite what you will find in the media the fact remains that all real estate is local, and that there are markets that are not in shambles and some are even thriving.

It is not the professional Realtor’s fault that they are in a trying buyer’s market, it is not their fault for the subprime lending fall out and it is certainly not their fault that so many people chose to feed the real estate buying frenzy at what was obviously the top of the market. Realtors were just doing their job as loyal consultants and real estate professionals, when the avalanche started.

If you like this post, please buy me a beer for $3 8-)Many Realtors claim that they have done everything right to help market themselves and their business, but still each day they drive up to the office in a dirty car, with mud on the side and papers, wrappers and debris inside. Lord help them if a client shows up or a buyer wants to see one of their listings, a buyer who is real, not some Looky Lou, wanting to take a tour of the city on the Realtors dime. These Realtors have an abundance of excuses as to why they did not clean their car.

They also add that the national media is lumping Ocala in with the entire state, and while the coastal areas and southern Florida have seen declines, Marion County still has positive values.

But, guess what a mortgage broker in the group stated. He thought that at least some of the blame should be on the backs of the Real Estate Agents.
